I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Memorial University of Newfoundland where I work on understanding fundamental user input paradigms and gestural interactions. Before joining MUN, I completed my PhD in the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Lab at the University of Waterloo, advised by Prof. Edward Lank. This was followed by a stint in industry as a Senior Research Scientist at Huawei Canada and a postdoc at Carleton University. My research interests span a variety of domains within human-computer interaction, including, learning input techniques, extended reality (AR/VR/MR), and 2D/3D interaction – with the overarching goal of understanding human behaviour while interacting with emerging technology.
